Fluke at the Tooting Bec Lido with Tom Robinson.

Fluke played at the Tooting Bec Lido on the 5th July for the South London Swimming Club's annual party. Tom Robinson was there (his wife is a swimmer) and he joined us for a couple of numbers including 2-4-6-8 Motorway. The band hadn't played it before but we all managed to busk through it. Patrick Quirke, our bass player, kindly handed over his bass to Tom and shot this video on a small compact camera.

The Prince of Wales, Twickenham, 20th April

Great first gig for the band at the Prince of Wales in Twickenham. The landlord (Tom) liked us so much he's asked us back to play at his beer festival in June.

The Poyntz Arms, East Molesey, 22nd March 2013

The band with Jason 'Chinners' Chinnery after our gig at the Poyntz Arms on 22nd March. 'Chinners', as well as being a fully paid up member of the Monster Raving Looney Party, organises all the band bookings at the Poyntz. Another good gig, we're back there on the 26th July.

Carol White's Birthday Party, December 8th 2012

It's been a while since the last post so here are some photos of a gig we played  in Camberly on December 8th 2012. It was Carol White's birthday party on Deceember 8th and was held at Camberly Theatre. Carol had come to see the band on various occasions and kindly asked us to play at her birthday celebration party. A friend of Carol's, Valerie (a professional singer) joined the band and sang 'Will You' by Hazel O'Connor, she did a great job and later , with Carol, came back to sing a few more with the band. Nice to have a bit of glamour in the band. Also great to have Nigel Appleton guesting on drums.
